Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments. The high nickel and molybdenum contents make the nickel steel alloy especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments while chromium conveys resistance to oxidizing media. The low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to maintain corrosion resistance in as-welded structures. This nickel alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process application in an as welded condition.
ASTM B622 C276 (N10276) is a specification for seamless tubes and pipes made of nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy (C276) that are commonly used in heat exchangers and boilers. The DIN 2.4819 refers to the European standard for this alloy.
This seamless tube/pipe is known for its excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, including highly corrosive conditions such as acidic solutions and chloride-containing media. It also offers good mechanical properties and high temperature resistance.

5. Packing | *All of our nickel alloy seamless pipes and tubes are packaged according to international standards to prevent any possible damage or loss. By default, we will use thick woven plastic bags to bundle the finished pipes together in batches. For some special pipes and tubes that are vulnerable to dirt, scratches, stress, or rough handling, we will suggest using wooden cases for protection. Please note that wooden cases may incur extra costs not only for the case itself but also for increased freight costs, especially when using air transportation. To enhance customer experience, we also provide dedicated packaging according to your specific requirements." |
